Welcome to Old Ephraim Elementary!
I’m excited to share a little about myself and my journey in education. I grew up in Estacada, Oregon, until age eight before moving to Utah, where I graduated from Orem High School. After graduation, I moved to Cache Valley to attend Utah State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I later completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University. My husband, Brett, is a Cache Valley native, and we have been married for 32 years. Together, we have six children—three daughters, one son, a daughter-in-law, and a son-in-law—and we were thrilled to welcome our first grandchild this year, with another on the way!
I have 17 years of experience in the Cache County School District. I spent eight years teaching first grade, fourth grade, and fourth-grade Dual Immersion at Providence Elementary. My career then shifted toward literacy and leadership, serving as a Literacy Facilitator across Mountainside, Wellsville, and Cedar Ridge elementary schools, as well as the District Language Arts Facilitator for grades 4–6. Before joining Old Ephraim Elementary, I served as the principal at Summit Elementary for seven years.
My passion in life is education and lifelong learning. I believe in the importance of setting and accomplishing goals, as well as providing students with the tools necessary to take charge of their learning. I value teamwork and the positive, rich learning environment created through collaboration among teachers, staff, and parents. I am honored and thrilled to join the Hyde Park community as we share this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to open a new school together!

I am so excited to be a part of Old Ephraim's first year and join the Cub family! Born and raised in Cache Valley, I’ve been with our school district since 2009. My favorite part of the job is hands-down the people!
I love working alongside our incredible staff and feel so blessed to work with your children!
Outside of school, I love hiking, boating, wake surfing, reading, playing piano, and cheering on the USU Aggies. My husband and I have six kids (three kids and three bonus kids), and a grandson, Ridge, who completely runs the show.
I can't wait to welcome all the students back to school!

I am beyond excited to be joining the Old Ephraim community! After 14 years of teaching fourth grade, I am thrilled to begin this new chapter with an incredible new staff while continuing to work with the amazing group of students I have had the privilege of teaching. It feels especially meaningful because this valley is where I grew up and graduated from Sky View High School. I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and I am excited to bring my classroom experience, energy, and love for kids into this new position.
I love education because I love learning—and I especially love sharing that love of learning with students. I believe school should be a place where students feel safe to try new things, make mistakes, learn from them, and grow. Developing a growth mindset and building confidence in what we are capable of are some of the most important things we can give our students, and I hope to help every student discover that they are capable of more than they may realize.
When I’m not at school, you can usually find me doing something creative! I love crossword puzzles, sewing, cooking, and pretty much any project that gives me an opportunity to make, create, or learn something new. I am so excited for this new adventure and can’t wait to get to know our students, families, and staff!

Hello and welcome to Old Ephraim Elementary! I am so excited to be a part of welcoming our Cub community in our inaugural year. I was raised and attended school in Centerville, UT while competing as a figure skater. I then attended and graduated from Utah State University in Accounting. While at USU, I met and married my husband Gordan. We have been blessed to have stayed and raised our children here in Cache Valley. I have 2 wonderful adult children, and an even more wonderful granddaughter who made me a first-time Grandma. I have worked in Cache District since 2018 and enjoy helping our students, their families, and our dedicated faculty. I also enjoy being outdoors with my family, snow skiing, live theatre, pickleball, playing piano, USU football games, and spoiling my granddaughter.

I was born and raised in Smithfield, where I currently live. I attended Sky View and married my high school sweetheart. We have one little boy. I love spending time outside on my family’s farm, working with horses, and spending time with my family.
Tyler Robinson

My name is Tyler Robinson and I am excited to be at Old Ephraim Elementary School! I will go by Mr. Tyler to the students. I am originally from a small town in southern Utah but have spent the last 11 years working as a school social worker in an elementary school in West Valley City. I love running, playing sports and spending time with my family. I am excited to work hard in helping build a positive school climate where all students feel welcome and supported.
